Job Description:
* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience.
* Promote health, fitness, and well-being through a diverse and inclusive PE curriculum.
* Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and school teams.
* Track student progress and provide regular feedback to encourage achievement.
* Maintain a safe and positive learning environment aligned with the school’s behaviour policies.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
* Engage with parents and carers to support student development and participation.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold UK QTS or be a fully qualified PE Teacher with relevant experience in secondary education.
* Be passionate about physical education and inspiring student engagement in sport and fitness.
* Have excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
* Be able to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and EAL students.
* Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to lead or contribute to school sports events and teams.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
