Powered Access Engineer
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: circa £45,000 (negotiable based on experience). Additional benefits include on‑call allowance, company bonus scheme, 25 days holidays + bank holidays, company van, company pension, private healthcare, and full product training.
Job Description: Due to growth and expansion, we are looking for a Powered Access Engineer to join an independent rental company that specialises in supplying powered access machinery to the construction industry across the UK. You will join a close‑knit team that prides itself on a friendly working environment. Full product training and ongoing support will be provided, alongside opportunities for progression as the business expands.
Responsibilities
* Carry out service, repair and maintenance on a fleet of scissor lifts, cherry pickers and other powered access machinery
* Attend on‑site breakdowns
* Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
* Carry out pre‑delivery inspections on the machinery
* Adhere to all health, safety, and legislation within the workshop and on site
Requirements
* Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering Qualification
* Previous experience working on powered access is essential
* Ideally hold a CAP Licence and IPAF Licence
* Hold a UK driving licence
