Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a central role in delivering management accounts, financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and full regulatory compliance. Your financial expertise will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining the organisation's financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
* Oversee sales and purchase ledger activities, ensuring efficient and well-controlled processes.
* Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting to support ongoing financial health.
* Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
* Deliver clear financial insights to senior management to inform growth and strategic decisions.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
* Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
