Wild Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our well established client in their search for a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their production team. You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production of high-quality goods. This role suits someone with a hands-on approach, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
* Conduct routine inspections and quality checks using measuring tools
* Ensure production targets and quality standards are met
* Try to minimise waste on materials
* Follow health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues
Requirements
* Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Familiarity with measuring equipment
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to work shifts or overtime when required
