We have an exciting opening a qualified veterinary nurse to join our research team working to improve the diagnosis, treatment and management of common health issues affecting older cats. The position is based at the Camden Campus of the RVC, working within a team of 6 academics, one post-doctoral research fellow and 6 PhD students with undergraduate veterinary students joining the group for their research projects. Clinical case material for our research is seen at the Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital and the PDSA in Bow on two mornings of the week with associated laboratory work and processing of samples taking the rest of these days. Maintaining the case database and organising the sample archive are important tasks. We run multiple projects (retrospective and prospective) and this position is crucial to the success of our research programme.
