Job Purpose and work duties I’m a 31 year old male looking for a part-time Personal Assistant. to support me on a one-to-one basis for a maximum of 6 hours a week with various activities in and around my home Work Duties: To provide companionship and stimulating conversation To take me out and support me doing the things I enjoy Eg walking, socialising in the community, drive out in the countryside, To encourage and support with domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation To take me shopping Other requirements Establish and maintain effective communication with employer Driver with car Work in a safe way and highlight health and safety concerns Maintain confidentiality Previous experience of working with people with mental health issues would be preferable Location • Within the employer’s home and local community Hours and rate of pay 6 hours per week. Flexible hours according to weekly need from £12.21 per hour. Occasional evenings or weekend hours to be discussed with employer.
