We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration / Finance Officer to join our team in Thurso. This is a varied and rewarding role providing essential administrative and financial support across the business.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a busy environment where accuracy and discretion are key.
This is a full-time post but we may consider part-time hours for the right candidate.

Administration Responsibilities
* Providing general administrative support across the business
* Managing emails, correspondence, and electronic/paper filing systems
* Preparing documents, reports, and spreadsheets
* Acting as first point of contact for billing queries
* Supporting Practice Management tasks as required
Finance Responsibilities
* Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, including:
o Processing purchase invoices and expenses accurately and in a timely manner
o Raising sales invoices and credit notes
o Credit control
* Daily bank reconciliations and monthly company credit card reconciliations
* Processing payroll
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including data entry and reconciliations
* Liaising with suppliers and internal teams regarding invoice queries
* Carrying out additional ad hoc duties as required
