An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Tayside’s Production Unit for an ambitious individual who wishes to expand their career and join our team. The Production Unit provides Decontamination services to NHS Tayside and NHS Fife and Linen services throughout NHS Tayside.
To ensure the future requirements of the Production Unit are met, we require a Production Officer for our production facilities. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a formal program of training and will work closely with the Production Manager to deliver a high quality service to our stakeholders. This post holder will be supported to develop skills and competencies which will allow them to operate autonomously with minimal supervision of their work and progress to a management position within the Production Unit upon completion of training.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37 Hours per week, 2pm to 10pm (Monday to Friday) however a flexible approach will be required to support any training requirements.
