COLLEGE ADMINISTRATOR (INDEPENDENT LEARNING CENTRE)
Part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)
Hours: 11.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only
Salary: £14,657.83 per annum (FTE £24,941) with annual increments to £14,945.80 per annum (FTE £25,431).
The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking College Administrator to work in the College’s Independent Learning Centre (ILC). The successful applicant will be required to support the ILC Team in monitoring student study, preparing textbooks and learning resources and managing the library database.
The post is available from 26 August 2025 to 3 July 2026 on a fixed-term, part-time, term-time only basis, in the first instance. The hours of work are from 11.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only (58.77%) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
It is anticipated that the post holder will spend the majority of their time working specifically in the ILC, but a flexible approach to working will be required according to demand and the time in the academic year.
The post requires commitment and excellent organisational skills. Previous experience of working within a study or library environment is desirable, but not essential. The post holder will spend a significant amount of the working day in a busy environment and will be required to regularly interact with students.
You will be required to attend our 3 Open Evenings in the autumn term for which time off in lieu will be given.
