It does not require specific industry experience as full product training will be provided, however you must have technical experience (ideally in white goods). The Role As a Refurb Technician, your primary focus will be leading the refurbishment process of returned water systemsensuring every unit is restored to peak performance and ready to delight customers once again. Youll combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership skills to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the refurb centre. From diagnosing faults to implementing process enhancements, youll be at the heart of our mission to deliver flawless water systems with zero compromise. This includes: Diagnosing root causes of product returns and refurbishments of returned or broken water home systems, following specifications and training provided by the Quality Manager. Ensure all repairs are completed correctly the first time to prevent repeat returns. Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with the Quality Manager to identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process guidelines. Accurately record stock usage and refurbishment data in internal systems. Ensure refurb centre stock aligns with system counts through regular audits. Complete scheduled stock takes with precision and timeliness. Organise stock transfers of refurbished machines to our distribution centre, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods. Liaise with the Supply Chain Planning team to communicate stock requirements and support inventory forecasting. Occasional field work and travel to the London office (on a quarterly basis). This role will also include cover in the Installation / Field Service team during busy periods, so candidates will need to be willing to work on the road in residential, customer facing environments from time to time. About YOU! Candidates will need a winning smile and an engaging personality, as well as: History of being a star in previous technical role. Problem-solving skills that make challenges disappear. Tackle basic plumbing tasks with ease we're looking for someone who can navigate pipes like Mario (or Luigi!) although full training will be given! A track record of being as reliable as our purified water we want someone who's as dependable as the sunrise. Your communication and people skills? Top-notch! Work independently like a pro and know how to juggle priorities. A valid driver's licence and a squeaky-clean driving record. Fork Lift licence preferred, but not essential as training will be provided. Candidates must be based within 30 minutes of Redhill.
