Associate Level 1 Software Test Engineers

Our Software Engineers work with tools like Java, Node.js, relational and non-relational databases to develop front-end and back-end services. They learn to utilize concepts such as containerization, microservices, and test-driven development. Test Engineers work with similar tools and automated testing frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, and Rest Assured to ensure the quality of our services through continuous testing practices.
Training and Assessment
Participants will combine hands-on experience with virtual learning, including tutorials, research projects, and mentorship. Following a boot camp, you will spend approximately 12 months working within an engineering team, developing your skills and building a portfolio. Upon completing your portfolio, you will undergo an End Point Assessment, consisting of a practical assessment and a formal discussion on your portfolio and understanding of the role.
Minimum Requirements
* Hold a valid passport, birth certificate, or residence permit
* Have the right to live and work in the UK
* Have resided in the UK and/or EEA for 3 years prior to the start date or hold refugee status
* Not be in full-time education or undertaking another apprenticeship at the start date
* Not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject
* Hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above or pass functional skills tests
