MVMG are looking for a further Access AdministrationOfficer to join our friendly team.
As an Access Admin officer your will you will support thedelivery of safe and effective care of patients through the appropriatemanagement of appointment booking templates to meet the needs and demands ofpatients. The role does require the sucessful candidate to start work at 7:30am.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of a team the post-holder will assist inupdating appointment booking templates and the scheduling/rescheduling ofappointments via direct patient contact as well as text, email etc. to ensurepatients are able to access the appropriate service or healthcare professionalin a courteous, efficient and effective way. You will be required to provide ahigh standard of patient focused service, pro-actively communicating relevantinformation between patients and their healthcare professional.

Job responsibilities
Working in conjunction with the Access Manager and widerpractice team you will support the delivery of safe, effective care of patientsthrough the appropriate management of appointment booking templates to meet theneeds and demands of patients across the Groups multi-disciplinary team.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks arecompleted in a profitable, efficient, safe and effective manner. Thepost-holder will effectively communicate with the wider team, supporting newways of working through innovation.
The post-holder will also work alongside the widerAdministration Officer team to provide administrative and project supportacross a wide range of functions as deemed necessary.
The Access Administration Officer will develop good workingrelationships with:
Patients, service users and customers
GP, nurses and other surgery staff
Other providers who work with the Surgery and the reportsteam
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of administration roles in the NHS
* Experience / knowledge of managing demand and capacity and appointment booking systems
Qualifications
* NVQ3 in Administration or equivalent or working towards.
* Evidence of continued learning/personal development in relevant field
