Job Description: Our client specialise in high-speed CNC machining of quality precision milled parts in aluminium, non-ferrous metal and plastic. Based in Stapleford Nottingham, Proactive Staff are looking for a great milling CNC machine setter to join their team. Whats in it for you / Benefits: £15 per hour upwards (depending upon experience) 7:30am 16:30pm Monday Thursday, 7:30am 12:30pm Friday Immediate start Successful placements will lead to a permanent contract Key Responsibilities: Setting and operating multi axis CNC milling machines to produce components for Aerospace, rail and automotive sectors Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to create precise parts. Use precision measuring tools to inspect machined components ( Vernier, Calipers and micrometres) Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Skills & Experience: Previous milling experience with CNC Machines Programming experience is not essential, a basic understanding of CNC code is needed to make minor edits or adjustments is ideal. Proven track record of excellent attendance and reliability Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
