Experienced Electrical Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to lead high-impact, technically rewarding projects across the UK’s critical infrastructure?
We’re seeking a delivery-focused Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ulverston. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering electrical systems across a diverse range of projects. What You’ll Do:
* Leading the design and specification of LV and HV systems
* Developing protection and control schemes, schematics, and cable calculations
* Managing delivery from concept through commissioning, including client and contractor coordination
* Reviewing technical work and mentoring junior engineers
* Ensuring compliance with BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, CDM, and project-specific standards
* Supporting power system studies (load flow, fault level, protection coordination) where required
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
* 5+ years’ experience in regulated or safety-critical sectors (e.g., energy, infrastructure, nuclear, defence)
* Strong grounding in electrical engineering design and delivery
* Familiarity with AutoCAD, Amtech, ETAP, or similar software
* Experience with or interest in power system studies (desirable)
* IEng or CEng registration, or working toward it
