The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team from September 2024 for the full academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop and implement creative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English department's curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in English or a related field.
Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
