Legal Officer - Property Rate: £15-£25 per hour - Negotiable DOE Contract Length: 3-6-month initial contract Northwest Local Authority Flexible Hybrid Working We are currently working with a Local Authority who are looking to appoint a Legal Officer to their Property and Redevelopment team. Key Responsibilities Routine property conveyancing matters, including acquisitions and disposals. Drafting and advising on leases, notices to quit, registrations and charges. Advising on legal matters arising from the Council's role as landowner. Handling a range of local government legal issues, including statutory orders and miscellaneous matters. Key Requirements Member of CILEX (or equivalent), or due to be admitted within the next six months. At least 6 months' relevant post-qualification or practising experience. Sound knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
