We're looking for a Compliance Inspector to join our Building Safety team, ensuring our properties are fully compliant with landlord health and safety legislation and statutory duties. This is a hands-on, role with opportunities to make a real impact on building safety and customer wellbeing. This is a varied and dynamic opportunity where you'll travel across a locality to carry out safety inspections of fire doors and detection equipment. You'll support the team with other compliance checks, log repairs, provide on-site technical expertise, and assist with accident and insurance investigations, as well as fire risk actions. A significant aspect of the role is engaging with residents and customers, explaining compliance requirements, and providing reassurance and support. If you are passionate about helping people and delivering excellent customer service, you will thrive in this role. What we're looking for: Experience in compliance inspections, reporting findings, and working to deadlines. Reliable, proactive, and quick to learn new concepts. Strong communication, accuracy, and attention to detail. Able to work independently and electronically report information. Professional, approachable, and solution focused. Organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities. Experience in Housing, Asset Management, or Building Safety is desirable. While technical knowledge of fire safety would be an advantage, training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Requirements: Ability to climb ladders and access confined spaces. Full driving license and able to travel regularly to Group offices and properties across South Birmingham, South Warwickshire and Oxfordshire areas.
