About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Manager to join a pharmaceutical build project in Hull on a 3‑month contract. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of mechanical commissioning deliverables, and support a fast‑moving project environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage mechanical commissioning activities on a live pharmaceutical construction project.
* Oversee mechanical systems commissioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
* Interface with BMS teams (experience with BMS commissioning preferred).
* Ensure all QA documentation is completed, maintained, and correctly filed.
* Work closely with construction, engineering, and client teams to ensure seamless handover.
* Manage mechanical instrumentation checks, verification, and testing.
* Identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and drive resolutions.
Skills & Experience Required
* Immediate availability (essential).
* Strong background in mechanical commissioning, ideally within pharmaceutical, cleanroom, biotech, or similar regulated environments.
* Experience with BMS integration/commissioning (preferred).
* Solid understanding of QA processes, documentation, and industry compliance.
* Competent with mechanical instrumentation, verification, and functional testing.
* Able to work on a fast‑paced project with multiple stakeholders.
