Job Title: Registered Manager – Children's Home

Salary: £43,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our GOOD Rated Ofsted children's home based in Walsall. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home provides a high standard of care, meets all regulatory requirements, and supports the emotional, social, and educational development of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead a team of care professionals, ensuring high standards of care are maintained
* Ensure the home meets Ofsted regulations and quality standards
* Develop care plans tailored to each child's individual needs
* Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment
* Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and professionals
* Oversee budgets, staffing, and reporting requirements
* Lead on recruitment, training, and staff development
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a managerial role within a children's residential setting
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to build trusting relationships with children, staff, and stakeholders
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
