Freelance Site Agent – Cable Installation Project – Keith
Start: Early September on site, but can start someome in August.
Duration: Minimum 2 months
Rate: £500 (with uplift if accommodation required)
Location: Keith, Moray
Contract Scotland is working with a reputable sub-contractor delivering a cable installation project in Keith. They are seeking an experienced Site Agent to take full site responsibility on this freelance opportunity.
The Role:\n
As Site Agent, you will be the most senior person on site, reporting directly to an Operations Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery of works, maintaining health and safety standards, and managing all daily site activities.
Key responsibilities include:

Day-to-day site management and supervision of trades and sub-contractors (approx. 8–10 people on site)
* \n
Overseeing the cable installation process (HV testing will be outsourced)
* \n
Ensuring all health & safety protocols are followed
* \n
Managing site paperwork, reporting and coordination
* \n
Liaising with internal teams and the main contractor.

You will be supported on-site by a Works Manager and a part-time Site Engineer.

CSCS card

First Aid certification
* \n
Previous experience in a Site Agent or Site Manager role on civil or utilities projects

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm

Preference will be given to candidates based locally to Keith. However, accommodation support is available for those travelling from further afield.
