Recoveries Handler
Location: Warrington
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday to Friday | 7.5 hours per day + 30-minute lunch
Annual Leave: 22 days + bank holidays

Salary: £26,000 plus bonus

Role Overview
As a Recoveries Handler, you'll play a key role in managing post-accident processes and financial recoveries. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role requiring strong negotiation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
13. Issuing new payment packs
14. Negotiating hire charges and repair costs with third-party insurers and solicitors
15. Handling inbound calls regarding ongoing hire and payment packs
16. Settling recovery/storage, credit repairs and uninsured losses
17. Reviewing liability (including chasing witnesses, ARF, CCTV etc.)
18. Managing team mailbox correspondence (emails and post)
19. Chasing VAT payments from clients
20. Addressing fines and damage to hire vehicles
21. Working towards monthly team targets
Person Specification
We're looking for someone with a proactive mindset and a strong grasp of credit hire processes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
22. Knowledge of Credit Hire and GTA ABI
23. Experience using Proclaim case management system
24. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
25. Excellent written and verbal communication
26. Strong organisational and time management skills
27. High attention to detail and accuracy
28. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
29. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
30. Professional attitude and strong work ethic
