Job Description
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
* Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction.
* Advise on procurement strategy and assist in establishing a client's requirements.
* Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
* Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
* Ensure that post-construction as-built drawings and specifications are prepared.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of construction.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
* Working knowledge of construction contracts and tendering processes.
* A strong understanding of construction project management.
* Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
