Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
* Support the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Build positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have a strong educational background at degree level.
* Possess previous successful teaching experience.
* Have experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
* Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
* Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
* Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
