Our client is seeking an experienced Deputy Children’s Home Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day management of a small residential children’s home. This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare professional looking to progress within a supportive and well-structured service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Registered Manager with the daily operation of the home
* Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to the care team
* Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance
* Support the development of a safe, stable and nurturing environment for young people
Requirements
* Previous experience in residential childcare, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s residential care standards
* Effective leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
