A well-established US law firm is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join its Finance team. This is a high-impact role supporting senior stakeholders and helping drive effective credit management across a complex, fast-paced legal environment.

The Role\nReporting to the Client Account Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for managing partner-led collections, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring timely cash flow while upholding the firm's exceptional client service standards.

Key Responsibilities
\n\n
\n\n
Work closely with partners and fee earners to drive timely cash collection and resolve aged debtBuild and maintain professional client relationships while handling sensitive payment mattersMonitor credit risk, analyse debtor balances, and produce regular collection reportsSupport month-end processes and contribute to best-in-class credit control practices

Candidate Profile

\n\n
Proven experience in a Credit Controller or legal collections role, ideally within a law firm Experience with Aderant Expert preferred but candidates with Elite 3E experience would be consideredHighly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
