Vehicle Mechanic The Role: This is a varied Workshop and Airside based position where you will play a crucial part in the success of the company by offering your expert mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair on-site aircraft service equipment, such as towing tractors, aircraft tugs, baggage elevators and a variety of specialist, unique vehicles. The suitable candidate will be mechanically skilled and a good problem solver in order to effectively repair and maintain on-site equipment. Vehicle Mechanic The Person: Experience working on light vehicle, HGV or plant vehicles City and Guilds certification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent (essential) You will need to: Be able to demonstrate your Right To Work in the UK Be able to obtain an airside pass which will require you to undergo a criminal record check and 5-year history verification Hold a valid UK driving licence Provide certifications for all qualifications Vehicle Mechanic Working Hours: Week 1 Monday - Friday () Week 2 Tuesday -Friday () Overtime available weekly but not guaranteed. 1 in 6 on call rota must be worked too. This is paid £10/night and a min of 4 hours paid at x1.5 per call out.
