A global quantitative investment and trading firm are seeking a Linux Engineer to join a successful and growing team.
About the Role
This person will architect and execute strategic changes to the Linux environment as well as oversee maintenance of that environment. The Linux Engineer will be responsible for supporting expansion, including new trading types, locations, and deployment mechanisms for software teams. They will also ensure that low-latency trading applications run seamlessly across our global network of co-location sites.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Required Skills
* 5+ years of hands-on Linux experience, with exposure to both Debian and RHEL preferred.
* Expertise in performance analysis and kernel tuning, especially as it pertains to low-latency systems.
* Infrastructure-as-Code with an Ansible flavor.
* Ability to use Python and Ansible to fully automate deployment, with familiarity with Nix/NixOS a plus.
* Working knowledge of networking, storage, and clustering technologies.
* Previous experience within Financial Services.
* Experience in HFT/ trading.
