GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rotherham. As a Primary TA, your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, supporting individual or small group learning, and helping to manage classroom behaviour in a positive and encouraging way.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Support the delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages.
* Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to reinforce learning.
* Assist with classroom organisation and the preparation of learning materials.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Help maintain behaviour expectations in line with school policies.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting is desirable.
* A calm, patient, and proactive attitude.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for education and supporting young children.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV, with any employment gaps explained.
