Head of Operational Technology (OT) Hybrid- Bristol 2 days a week in the office Salary £90-100k base plus package and Bonus I am looking for a Head of OT to lead the design, deployment, and support of communication and monitoring systems. This role combines hands-on technical oversight with team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of OT engineers Own OT design from concept to commissioning Ensure cybersecurity and network performance standards are met Oversee documentation, integration, and supplier coordination Support reactive troubleshooting and participate in on-call rota Manage OT system maintenance and upgrades across UK sites Essential Skills & Experience: Proven leadership in OT or industrial IT environments Strong knowledge of IT/OT networks, cybersecurity, and industrial protocols (Modbus, RS485) Familiarity with Windows admin, network tools, and remote troubleshooting Self-motivated, adaptable, and confident working across teams Preferred: Experience with PV/BESS systems, Linux admin, Fortinet/Mikrotik/Moxa hardware AutoCAD and data acquisition systems knowledge Requirements: STEM degree or equivalent experience
