We’re working exclusively on an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join a forward-thinking business based in Nottingham that’s on a real journey with its people agenda. They’re investing heavily in creating a brilliant employee experience, and they are keen to attract a talented Senior Advisor level individual who will be right at the heart of it.This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to get involved in both day-to-day HR delivery and longer-term people initiatives.
The Role
As Senior HR Advisor, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical advice and support across the full HR remit. Key responsibilities include:
* Advising and supporting managers with employee relations cases (absence, disciplinary, grievance)
* Coordinating recruitment processes and supporting line managers in hiring decisions
* Assisting with payroll, contracts, onboarding and compliance checks
* Maintaining and developing HR systems, policies, and procedures
* Supporting annual performance reviews, training and employee engagement initiatives
* Leading on and Contributing to key HR projects and culture-building activities
About You
We’re looking for someone who can combine strong HR knowledge with a proactive and approachable style:
* Experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to ER casework, recruitment, payroll and benefits
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
* A genuine interest in employee engagement and building a positive culture within a diverse employee population.
