Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Golden Jubilee Digital Department for an IT Operations Support Analyst. We are looking for a knowledgeable, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Operations team of skilled Support Analysts. Candidates should have good people, communication, problem solving and technical skills, as well as being a good team player, with the ability to work autonomously.
Responsibilities
* Provide and manage the underlying operational infrastructure across the entire campus including the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, NHS Scotland Academy, Golden Jubilee Research Institute, Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel and The National Centre for Sustainable Delivery.
* Support the team on several significant projects using new and innovative technologies to provide high availability and resiliency to key patient services hosted across multiple data centres.
* Contribute to server/backup/storage infrastructure refresh, maintenance, performance and availability monitoring, and support our user base accessing the underlying services.
* Work as part of an established team to ensure the infrastructure is developed and maintained to the highest standards.
Qualifications
* Educated to HND level in a Computer related science (or equivalent experience).
* Proven track record working in 2nd/3rd line support within complex infrastructure environments.
* Experience with Microsoft operating systems (both server and desktop).
* Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, Exchange and SCCM/InTune.
* Industry certification in the aforementioned areas is desirable; working knowledge of M365 and backup technologies is a plus.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will be based in the Digital department of the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, Clydebank. The option to participate in a hybrid model of working (part office based, part working from home) is also available to the successful candidate.
NHS Golden Jubilee is open to considering flexible working options for this role.
