The Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Contract Cleaner to join our team. This role is part-time, fixed at 3 hours per day, 3 days per week (9 hours total). Work is carried out, out of hours, with flexibility in the mornings or evenings while the building is closed.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out high-quality daily cleaning across assigned areas.
* Perform general duties: dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
* Clean and sanitise kitchens, toilets, and communal areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
* Replenish washroom facilities: toilet rolls, paper towels, soap, sanitiser.
* Manage cleaning inventory to ensure supplies never run low and report stock levels to the Contracts Manager.
* Perform periodic cleaning tasks: bin emptying, replacing vacuum bags, equipment care.
* Keep cleaning cupboards tidy and organised.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Contracts Manager.
* Follow cleaning protocols and health & safety regulations at all times.
* Undertake deep cleaning or additional tasks when required.
* Maintain open communication with supervisors, reporting any issues promptly.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in contract cleaning.
* Strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
* Excellent time management to complete tasks within allocated hours.
* Ability to work independently while following a set cleaning schedule.
* Good communication skills for updates and reporting.
* A driving licence is not essential but highly favoured.
* Reliability and punctuality are essential.
