Job Summary
The Finance function has launched a Finance Transformation programme. The programme has completed a Discovery phase to aid the scoping and forward planning required to launch a full-scale transformation programme.
There are 5 projects that are commencing within our UK / EU Shared Service Centre based at Head Office in Bury to implement new systems and processes and also improve on existing processes.
In addition, delivery of systems training for BAU activities, as required.
The trainer is responsible for:
* Carrying out training needs analyses to identify the learning approach required to deliver effective learning
* Delivering training courses tailored to specific teams that develop employees' skills and knowledge related to above projects
* Materials created need to align to JD tone of voice
* Designing, facilitating, and assessing the effectiveness of training sessions, ensuring that participants gain the necessary knowledge to support successful adoption of new systems & processes
* Adaptation of training materials for BAU learning
* Supporting team members queries through the go-live period
An understanding of Finance terminology is preferable.
Team Stucture
The Trainer will be part of the Design & Content team within the Group's Learning & Development team, but will work closely with the Finance Transformation Change & Comms Lead.
The Trainer works collaboratively with a number of stakeholders namely Subject Matter Experts and Business Leads of each project.
The trainer will work with the contracted 3rd party providers (e.g. Oracle) who themselves have training content ensuring an understanding of what will be delivered through the 3rd parties and what is required to be delivered internally. The training material developed internally is expected to be complementary to that provided by 3rd parties.

Accountabilities
* Successful development and delivery of training courses
* Identifying with business input the training needs for the respective projects in scope and ensuring training delivers against these identified business needs
* Ensure training collateral has been transitioned to BAU to support future learning of new joiners
* Reporting on and tracking attendance of employees identifying escalation requirements to enable timely training completion
* Reviewing results of training effectiveness and deliver additional training interventions as required to meet agreed learning outcomes
* Responsible for training planning logistics e.g. liaising with central L&D team on any operational support required
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Minimum skills:
* Design e-learning training courses using Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise
* Experienced in the use of Adobe Suite – Illustrator, InDesign etc
* Ability to translate technical system training into engaging content for team members
* Ability to engage team members through different learning techniques
* Creation of training collateral to support team member learning e.g. user-guides, cheat sheets
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
* Strong project management skills
* Ability to set and meet project deadlines while maintaining the highest standards
* Multi-tasking capability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to analyse data to identify gaps in learner knowledge and propose solution
Minimum experience:
* Experience designing and delivering training using an e-learning platform
* Experience in designing process and system training
* Experience managing development of content for multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience creating supporting training collateral e.g. user-guides, cheat sheets, how to videos
* Experience creating training knowledge checks e.g. assessments, quizzes, feedback forms
* Experience working with Subject Matter Experts to create training materials
Preferred:
* Experience working within Finance or Finance transformation programme
* Experience of briefing content / facilitating face to face sessions
* Experience designing and delivering training face to face
* Instructional design qualification
