The Role:

* Shaping the strategic evolution of digital content to maximise visibility and relevance across both traditional search (SEO) and generative AI (GEO), and emerging discovery platforms
* Shaping the AI-first digital content strategy, building rich and authoritative digital experiences, and partners across the organisation to ensure our digital content delivers trust, authority, and commercial impact
* This role helps the business determine what content is needed for both AI search visibility (GEO) and SEO, where expertise and authority are required, and how content should evolve to support discovery and customer decision making




Role overview:



AI-First Digital Content Strategy

* Shape and support an AI-first content strategy required for visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging discovery channels (LLM platforms eg Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini etc), defining what content is needed to appear in AI-led answers and summaries, to shape the strategic direction for rich digital content.
* Providing clear briefs and recommendations that guide how on-site content should evolve to strengthen trust, authority and commercial performance



Search Visibility Optimisation

* Shape and guide how content is structured and optimised for both generative search environments and traditional search engine, and create best practices that keep our brands discoverable as search behaviour evolves



Off-Site Visibility & Digital PR Alignment

* Collaborate with PR, Social and agency partners to amplify priority content, strengthen topical authority, and ensure external signals support search and AI visibility



Industry Awareness and Continuous Learning

* Stay informed about developments in AI, search behaviour, and digital content trends by attending relevant conferences, webinars and industry events, and share key learnings with wider teams and business



Recquired Experience:



Digital Experience and Awareness

* 2+ years experience in a digital / marketing role or similar
* A proactive interest in the evolving search landscape across AI-driven search behaviour, entity led content frameworks, and generative search visibility



Strategic Mindset

* Proven experience in a strategic role
* Experience of setting strategic goals informed by data of clear hypothesis, and guiding these through to implementation via insight-led recommendations



Communication and Stakeholder Management

* Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex content and AI search concepts into clear, tailored narratives for key stakeholders and senior leadership audiences
* Skilled in influencing without direct ownership – guiding delivery teams through clear briefs, frameworks and ways of working
