Role Overview
The Pre-Litigated File Handler will work within a team of fraud specialists and legal support staff, managing a caseload of pre-litigation cases involving various fraud types. The role involves working closely with the Team Leader and Lead Lawyer to achieve optimal results in a commercially sound manner. Key skills include following defined processes, forensic analysis of evidence, and high commercial awareness regarding fixed fee work. Decision-making within set timeframes and case strategies is essential.

* Handle files according to client guidelines

* Complete all MI accurately and promptly
* Meet KPIs for client and internal standards
Technical Excellence
* Coordinate investigations and investigations deadlines
* Protect client’s litigation position
* Manage case investigations proactively
* Delegate tasks appropriately
* Maintain all case management systems accurately
* Follow file management policies and SRA standards
Financial Excellence
* Work efficiently within fixed fee structures
* Maintain profitability and meet financial targets
* Ensure accurate billing

Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. The role is based at Bolton, Parklands Office, with at least 1 day per week in the office.
