An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Nurse to join our established, award-winning community enteral nutrition team on a fixed-term basis.
Main duties of the job
The role involves working with adult patients alongside dietitians, community-based district nursing staff, and our experienced Nutrition Nursing team to advise and support on all aspects of enteral feeding in adults. The team liaises with acute units, enteral feeding companies, community hospitals, and nursing homes regarding home enteral feeding discharges, assessments, direct patient care, and staff training. The successful candidate should have experience in enteral feeding. Working with the Specialist Nutrition Nurses for Adults, you will gain expert knowledge and support patients at home to prevent hospital admissions.

Qualifications and Training
* Registered Nurse
* Degree in Nursing
* Recent Post Basic Clinical Training
* Experience with Children or Learning Disability
* ENB 998 / City and Guilds 730 or similar teaching qualification
* Community Nurse Prescribing
Experience
* Substantial post-registration clinical nursing experience
* Multidisciplinary working experience
Skills / Knowledge
* Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices
* Understanding of nutritional support and enteral feeding issues
* Familiarity with national guidance on nutrition support
