Location: Culbokie Primary School
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term from 18 August 2025 until 02 July 2026
Salary: £18,809 - £20,603 (Unqualified); £20,893 - £22,880 (Qualified)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Requirements
Early Years Practitioners (unqualified) will need to work towards relevant awards within an agreed timescale and will be paid on grade HC0435.
Early Years Practitioners (qualified) should hold a recognised qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., HNC, NNEB, SVQ 3) and will be paid on grade HC0535.
The role requires holding or applying for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Upon starting, practitioners should register with the SSSC. If already registered and changing employers within Highland Council, inform the SSSC of any changes.
Qualifications in Food Handling and First Aid are advantageous.
