Mobile Care Assistant
The vacancy is for a passionate Mobile Care Assistant to join our growing care team. Applicants must hold a valid full UK driving licence and use their own vehicle.
Location: Across Gosforth and surrounding areas. Travel expenses are covered, and mileage is paid at 43p per mile.
Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour, plus up to £1.30 for evening and weekend hours.
Hours: Full‑time and part‑time positions available. Shifts are on a rota basis between 7am and 10pm, including mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.
About the role: This dual role involves personal care and domestic services. The assistant works closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers, and Care Performance Manager to deliver personal bespoke care and lifestyle services, support household tasks, and maintain cleanliness of communal areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Support individual homeowners by providing personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, medication assistance, and domestic support such as cleaning and shopping.
* Maintain communal areas to a high standard, ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment.
* Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and appointments to enhance overall well‑being and social connections.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Preferably previous exposure to a care environment and Level 2 Health and Social Care, though training will be provided for suitable candidates.
* Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and effective time‑management.
* Valid full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between developments.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including early mornings, late shifts, and alternate weekends.
