Junior Full-Stack Developer (12-Month Fixed-Term)
Liverpool (Hybrid) | Full-time | £27,000 | Equipment budget included
We're looking for a Junior Developer who wants to build something real — not just move tickets around in a corporate backlog.
This is a 12-month, full-time role (Jan–Dec 2026), working as part of a small, focused team on a brand-new web-based system. You'll have ownership, guidance, and the chance to ship work that actually matters.
What you'll be doing:
* Develop new features across front and back end
* Design clean, functional interfaces
* Work closely with the technical lead to plan architecture and integrations
* Test, debug, and improve based on user feedback
* Help with data migration and keep things tidy
* Write clear documentation and support a smooth handover at the end
Who you are:
We're not expecting senior-level experience — we're looking for a grounded, capable developer who wants to grow by doing.
* Comfortable with web development fundamentals (through uni, bootcamp, or self-taught projects)
* Good understanding of databases, APIs, and how modern web apps are structured
* Builder mindset — happy to grind out features, fix bugs, and move the project forward
* Coachable — open to feedback, process suggestions, and hands-on collaboration
* Bonus if you've worked in small teams or on real-world client projects
Location & flexibility:
This role is hybrid, but you'll need to be in the office (Liverpool) full-time to begin with — especially during the early build phase. Once you're up to speed, we'll support a flexible mix of in-office and remote working.
What's on offer:
* Choose-your-own equipment budget
* 12-month fixed-term contract (Jan–Dec 2026)
* A small team where your work is visible and valuable
* Birthday treats, team lunches, and Christmas party
* Casual dress, relaxed environment, no corporate waffle
You'll get structure without micromanagement. Clear direction, with space to figure things out. And a project you can actually point to when it's done.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Graduate
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
Benefits:
* Casual dress
* Company events
* Flexitime
* On-site parking
* Work from home
