Visual Comedy Writer for Viral YouTube Shorts
About the Role:
We're seeking a talented Visual Comedy Writer to create high-retention, meme-fueled 3D Minecraft animations that blend absurd visual gags with emotional punch.
As a member of our creative team, you'll craft short-form visual stories (20–30s, no dialogue) that inject humor, irony, surprise, and heart into our 30-second stories.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and pitch 3–5 gag-based story ideas per day — fast, weird, and viral
* Collaborate with 3D animators to bring the stories to life
* Help scale content output while keeping it creative and watchable
Requirements:
You'll thrive in this role if you think in scenes, not sentences — you write with your eyes. You love absurd logic, visual humor, and emotional curveballs. You understand short-form comedy: setup, twist, and payoff.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience writing for animation, TikTok, or sketch-style content
* Able to distill complex ideas into silly, shareable formats
* Can turn one weird thought into ten viral story beats
