About the Chef Position

* Manage kitchen staff by delegating tasks
* Hire and train all kitchen staff members
* Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines
* Create menus that appeal to customers, including special seasonal menus
* Work alongside restaurant management to price menu items
* Provide feedback on food preparation and presentation
* Inspect food items to ensure quality
* Monitor inventory and workshop ways to reduce food spoilage
* Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, scheduling repairs when required
* Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure goals are being met
Chef Requirements
* [2+] years experience as a Chef
* Degree in culinary arts preferred
* Licensure from the FDA as applicable
* Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
* Superb attention to detail
* Strong creativity when creating menus
