Vehicle Technician Role Overview As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs efficiently and effectively. Vehicle Technician Key Responsibilities Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and equipment. Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles. Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer standards. Qualifications & Experience NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification. Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a busy automotive workshop. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
