Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical design across a diverse range of building projects, ensuring high-quality, sustainable solutions
* Prepare technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and contract documentation
* Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing
* Act as a primary client and consultant contact, supporting project coordination and delivery
* Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards
* Support project planning, budgeting, and fee proposals
* Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices
Candidate Profile
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline
* Chartered or working toward CEng status (IET, CIBSE, or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, NES, Cymap, and MS Office
* Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Full UK driving licence
