The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Practitioner to join our growing team. You will workalongside individuals who may have learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or other supportrequirements. Your role will be to provide person-centred support that helps people build confidence, developlife skills, and engage in their community whilst accessing our vibrant group based support service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored support to meet each person’s individual needs and goals within a small groupsetting
* Assist with developing and maintaining daily living skills, from cooking and budgeting topersonal care
* Support individuals to access education, training, work, and socialactivities
* Support individuals to be an active participant in community
* Build trustingrelationships and act as a positive role model
* Keep accurate records and contribute to supportplanning
* Promote independence, dignity, and choice at all times
* Ability to support MembersTravel to and from Support and encourage the development of self travel skills
About You
* Caring, patient, and respectful in your approach
* Good communication and listening skills
* Able towork as part of a team and on your own initiative
* Flexible and reliable, with a positiveoutlook
* Experience in a support role qualified to SVQ level 3
* Experienced in implementingpositive behaviour plans
* Experienced at delivering group based activities that support learning anddevelopment
* A valid driving licence is desirable but not essential

The roleinvolves supporting people with learning disabilities to be included in the community and lead an ordinary life.Your work would involve helping people to access educational, social, leisure and work or volunteeringopportunities in the community.
No experience or formal qualifications are necessary for the role although a caring nature, positive attitude and asense of fun are important characteristics to have. New staff will receive paid training and undertake shadowshifts with experienced staff members during induction. Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a dynamic person to lead, develop and deliver our programme of pre and post diagnostic support forautistic adults in Scotland.
Funded via Inspiring Scotland the programme aims to support and empower autistic people by deepening theirunderstanding of autism and autistic identity, improving wellbeing, and fostering peer connections.
You will be part of the Programmes Team, who deliver a diverse range of projects that support and empower autisticpeople across Scotland. As part of the team you will work collaboratively to design, deliver and evaluate highquality person-centred programmes.
To achieve success in this role you should have experience of the following: -
* Recruitment of staff.
* Experience of working in the voluntary sector.
* Fundraising or working directly withfunders
* Delivering programmatic group work and 1-2-1 sessions (online and in person)
* Evaluatingprojects.
* Working with external partners.
* Reporting to internal management and externalfunders.
To be successful, you will have good communication skills and have strong leadership qualities. Be educated to atleast university degree level in an appropriate discipline or proven track record in the field. (at least 3years)

This is a home-based role with occasional travel to Glasgow for group delivery andmeetings.
