This is a flexible, cross-functional role that will support multiple departments, ensuring high standards of customer service delivery alongside strong compliance adherence.The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing customer experience, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting operational efficiency across the business. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Oversee day-to-day customer service activities, ensuring a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism Act as an escalation point for complex customer queries and complaints Monitor service levels and implement improvements where required Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers Compliance & Process Management Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements Conduct regular audits and checks to maintain compliance standards Support the implementation of new compliance processes and initiatives Maintain accurate records and documentation Cross-Departmental Support Work closely with operations, transport, and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery Support process improvements across multiple departments Assist with internal reporting, tracking KPIs, and performance metrics Provide operational support during peak periods or where required Team Leadership & Development Provide guidance and support to customer service staff Assist with onboarding and training of new team members Promote a positive and collaborative working environment Lead by example in maintaining high performance standards Key Skills & Experience Previous experience in a customer service or supervisory role, ideally within logistics or a fast-paced operational environment Strong understanding of compliance, processes, and regulatory standards Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work flexibly across multiple departments Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities Personal Attributes Proactive and adaptable approach Strong sense of ownership and accountability Team-focused with a collaborative mindset Able to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £30,000 DOE Opportunity to work in a dynamic, growing logistics business Broad, varied role with exposure across multiple business areas Career development opportunities within a supportive environment If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now. 4796407
