About The Role

Available shift patterns:

* 109250 — Thursday 08:00 to 14:45, Saturday-Sunday 08:00 to 14:30
* 109248 — Wednesday 13:15 to 20:00, Saturday 13:30 to 20:00 and Sunday 08:30 to 14:30
* 109239 — Monday 13:15 to 20:00, Thursday 13:30 to 20:00, Saturday 08:00 to 14:30

This includes weeks with bank holidays and statutory/customary days, where you will be rostered to work as required.

This is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal moment for the Library as we transform services and launch a new strategy. We are looking for inspiring, credible, and authentic team players.

This front facing Library team is responsible for enquiry handling and customer support in both the Main Library and University Archive (Modern Records Centre). The successful candidates will provide support for face to face and virtual enquiry services and help deliver excellent frontline customer services to the Library’s diverse customer communities.


About You

We are looking for outstanding candidates to join our Customer Services team. You will have good interpersonal skills and be able to work with a diverse range of people. You will be willing to learn, eager to take on new challenges and able to work in a busy, evolving customer-focused environment. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
