Talent Acquisition Partner – First Bus

Are you passionate about connecting people with the right opportunities? At First Bus, we're on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Partner to help us attract, engage, and hire top talent across our business. You'll be a trusted partner to our operational leaders, working closely with the Senior TA Partner to deliver a seamless recruitment experience from start to finish. A large part of this role will involve high‑volume recruitment of bus drivers, so you'll need to be confident managing fast‑paced campaigns while still delivering an excellent candidate experience.


What you’ll be doing

* Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from role briefing through to offer stage.
* Lead high‑volume driver recruitment campaigns across your business area.
* Use creative sourcing strategies (job boards, social media, networking) to engage great candidates.
* Build proactive talent pipelines for key roles.
* Provide market insights and recruitment expertise to support effective decision‑making.
* Deputise for the Senior TA Partner and act as a key contact across the business when needed.
* Promote First Bus as an employer of choice through every interaction.
* Keep accurate records in the ATS and report on progress regularly


What we’re looking for

* Proven recruitment experience (in‑house or agency), managing end‑to‑end processes.
* Experience in high‑volume recruitment, ideally within a fast‑paced operational environment.
* Strong stakeholder management skills—confident working with operational leaders.
* Excellent sourcing and pipeline‑building ability.
* Great communication skills with the ability to advise and influence.
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
* Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive candidate experience.
* Commercially aware, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions.
