Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary of £45,000, with potential to earn up to £49,000 once all training is completed.
- Typical overtime shifts at premium rates can add approximately £3,500.

Qualifications
- Qualified RN (Adult), RMN (dual registration), RGN, or qualified Paramedic.
- Minimum of 12 months previous custody experience and at least 3 years post‑qualification experience in any of the following areas: General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk‑In Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service.
- 3 years of UK residency.
- Current manual driving licence with no restrictions, as occasional travel to other custody suites or local hospitals may be required.
- All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with accurate assessments and ensuring their care and wellbeing needs are met.
- Review rota gaps and cover shifts as needed.
- Supervise and appraise team members appropriately.
- Act as a management professional and work as part of an integrated team with the Clinical Lead and Lead Senior to ensure local processes follow National Clinical Governance Standards and Forces specific needs.
- Provide coaching and support to team members.
