An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Domestic Assistant to join our fantastic #TeamBorders at our brand new office location in Galashiels on a permanent, part-time (15 hours per week) basis.
Role
Cornerstone is one of Scotland’s largest charities with over 40 years’ experience providing care and support for adults and children with various support needs throughout Scotland.
As our Domestic Assistant, your key responsibility will be to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in our Connects Hub Support Building. This will include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, polishing, cleaning, emptying bins, kitchen and bathroom areas. You will also be responsible for managing your own cleaning stock to ensure you have all the resources you need to fulfil your role.

* Manage your own cleaning stock to ensure you have all the resources needed to fulfil your role.
About You
* Understand infection prevention and control.
* Be reliable, conscientious and have good timekeeping.
* Be thorough with a good eye for detail.
* Have a warm, friendly personality with good communication skills.
* Bring a good understanding of confidentiality.
Desirable / Additional Information
* Previous experience working in a similar role.
* Shift patterns: Your contracted hours will be worked over 5 days and can be either early mornings (starting from 0800 hours) or late afternoons (from 1700 hours). There may also be occasions to work the occasional weekend if any office events are planned, with advance notice.
