Main duties of the job
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting a male client with an ischemic brain injury, learning disabilities, epilepsy, and sensory processing disorder. Your duties will include encouraging engagement, supporting routines, and helping the client enjoy a full and active life, including trips to the beach, restaurants, and other outdoor activities. You will need to be caring, calm, and consistent, with the ability to confidently support complex needs and behaviors. Experience in complex care, learning disabilities, epilepsy, or behavioral support is highly desirable.

Job responsibilities
Complex Care Assistant (Male) – Bank Role (Zero Hours)
Location: Anglesey Pay: £15.40 per hour Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 3pm–7pm; occasional Sunday, 9am–5pm; 9am–5pm during school holidays
We are recruiting a compassionate and reliable Male Complex Care Assistant to support a male client in his family home on Anglesey, as part of the dedicated team at Libertatem Healthcare.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about delivering truly person-centred care.
About the Client
The client has an ischemic brain injury from birth and lives with:
* Severe learning and behavioural difficulties
* Epilepsy
* Sensory processing disorder
The client lives in a warm family environment with three pet dogs (one Husky and two Shih Tzu Poodles) — the family manage all dog care. Interests & Daily Life
The client enjoys a full and active life, including:
* Trips to the beach and river
* Restaurants, theatre, train rides, and car rides
* Outdoor activities
* Being read to and playing with staff
* Watching Mr Tumble and Peppa Pig
* Picture cards, toy cars, and animal toys
Your role will involve encouraging engagement, supporting routines, and helping the client enjoy meaningful daily experiences.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Caring, calm, and consistent
* Confident supporting complex needs and behaviours
* Comfortable working in the community
* Flexible for bank / zero-hours shifts
* A full UK driver (essential)
Experience in complex care, learning disabilities, epilepsy, or behavioural support is highly desirable.
